Not real sure about this button.  The shell appears to be pewter with a pie-shell border.
The inside appears to be either ceramic or glass, and depicts a very faded building of a chapel or cathedral.  It is very faded, and the only way I could capture the image is to splash it with water, so the button face is wet and bubbly in the photo.

 I can see the ceramic but can hardly make out anything on it, still a good button

It is really hard to see, and even harder to capture in a photo, but if you look at it real closely you might be able to see it after you look at the photo below.  I have sorta outlined what I can see with button in hand.
