Here's a Button I purchased the other day......it's A British Millitay Button.....circa: 1855 or later......British 81st Reg. of Foot/Loyal Lincoln Vols.......it was dug by a fellow back in the 1980's at: Fort site..Shirley Heights...Antigua...it's a bit smaller than a US Nickle....

That is a very nice old British button, Dand, and those photos are inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

By the way, I finally got my camera and posted a few buttons to try it out. I will post more as time permits.
