Up until a couple days ago I didn't realize rubber buttons existed....It looks like good condition. Thanks for sharing.

Yes...but that's not the actual date of the Button...I believe it's the Patent Date......experts please correct me if I'm wrong...

Dand - Did you know that on page 178 of Howard Crouch's book on Civil War Artifacts he has that very same button listed?
